Charlie is a multi-dimensional performer with a background in classical/contemporary ballet, and tango. Her movement training laid the foundation for her becoming a stunt actress shortly after becoming a filmmaker. Based in New York City, she's taken a pause from high falls and fighting to focus on writing/acting/directing.
Writing and acting serve as a method for her quest to gain "experiences." For one lifetime -- one role -- is insufficient. Acting and filmmaking are where her soul expands in a life lived in its fullest expression.
Through much of her writing, she unravels a soul's tightly bound layers, explores the nature of time and consciousness, and weaves moments of awe and wonder while questioning the nature of our physical reality.
Charlie's short film WITH HERS gained her an award of prestige as "Best 1st Time Director" at the Vegas Movie Awards in October 2020.
Her script FIRE ANT was a second rounder in Launchpad Feature Screenplay Competition 2021, and a quarterfinalist in Atlanta Film Festival Screenplay Competition 2022.
Her recent screenplay, LUCERNE, in its first draft, advanced to the second round at Austin Film Festival's 2025 dramatic feature length division.
